On Wednesday, P5 stepped back in time for one of the yearly highlights of being in Mrs Hull’s class — Egyptian Day!
The children dressed up in fantastic Egyptian-themed costumes and spent the day fully immersed in Ancient Egypt. They:
Used clay to mould their very own Ancient Egyptian cartouche
Discovered the results of their tomato mummification experiment
Enjoyed an Ancient Egyptian banquet and even sampled some traditional food
Tried out some Ancient Egyptian dancing — with plenty of laughs and energy!
A brilliant day of hands-on learning, creativity and fun. Well done P5!
