On Thursday 9th October, our mixed football team proudly represented Fourtowns Primary School at the annual Owen Daley 7-a-side competition at Ballymena Showgrounds.
While we didn’t make it out of the group stages this time, it was fantastic to see some new faces making their school football debuts! There was plenty of great football on display — but even more importantly, we saw brilliant teamwork, effort, and excellent behaviour throughout. Lots of smiles too!
Congratulations to St Mary’s, Portglenone, who won the final with a dramatic ‘Golden Goal’ against Gracehill, sealing a 1-0 victory in a tightly contested match.
