That same afternoon, we had our P4–P7 Sports Day, once again enjoying fantastic weather and a brilliant atmosphere! It was another wonderful event, with our older pupils showing great determination, energy and sportsmanship throughout.
In P4–P7, the emphasis was on achieving a ‘Personal Best’ while still enjoying the experience, and it was fantastic to see the effort and commitment on display in every event.
As well as celebrating participation and effort, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place results were recorded across events, recognising the competitive spirit shown by the children.
In a special assembly that will take place in the coming week, gold, silver and bronze medals will be presented and our annual Sports Day trophies will be awarded to the boy and girl from each year group who has received the most gold medals.
